CHERI MANRIQUE is an award-winning nature photographer from Urbana, Illinois.

Most of her photos are taken in Busey Woods near her home.

She was born in Danville and moved to Champaign-Urbana in the 80’s

to study Mechanical Engineering at the University Of Illinois.

Photography started out as a hobby while on daily walks through Busey Woods

and has developed into her true passion.

She also loves music and playing blues guitar.
